"People all across America aren't feeling that progress"

Does Obama really think that Americans are so stupid and just don't get his scintillating successes? In that he remind me of our own current prime-minister Mykola Azarov who three years ago, vice-prime-minister then, was outraged about the fact that everybody was talking about huge inflation and nobody noticed that the prices of cabbage fall by 20% (I guess, using American terminology, he was calling for some kind of cabbage imputation in CPI).

Seems like that arrogance is international trait of bureaucracy.
